Why Mindful F*ck-It Yoga for Strength

As a woman, I grew up being told to shrink, stay small, and take up as little space as possible.

And for a long time, I lived by that.

Until I said, f*ck this.

I am not here for that. Building and maintaining muscle mass isn’t about how I look: it’s about feeling strong inside and out, moving with joy, balancing my mood, preventing injuries, and supporting my body as I age.

Expect a yoga and mindfulness class designed to be as much a work-in as a workout.

We’ll start slow, end slow, and sweat in between.

  • No experience needed
  • All levels welcome (variations available for all levels of strength and mobility)
  • Funky pajamas & sleepy faces encouraged
  • Helpful but not required: a yoga mat and 1–2 kg weights (or 2 full bottles of water)

Maria Chietera is a certified ICF Professional Coach, Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, and Yoga Instructor dedicated to helping individuals align their minds and bodies, cultivating deeper presence, peace, and fulfilment. Her teaching style is accessible, trauma-informed, and grounded in Buddhist philosophy.

Passionate about bringing mindfulness to the corporate world, Maria also co-founded The Mindful Facilitator certification program, equipping leaders and coaches to integrate mindfulness into their work and fostering more conscious, balanced, and effective organizations.
